In Palia, there are plenty of fish to catch and luckily, Silver Salmon happens to be one of the easiest to catch. However, catching this illustrious fish requires fishing at a specific time, as long as players are aware of the conditions required to catch Silver Salmon, they should have no problem nabbing this catch.
The concept of fishing during certain times of day to catch specific fish is one that players should recognize from fishing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons or other games like it, such as Disney Dreamlight Valley. Though it adds a level of realism to the game, it can also add a level of frustration for those unaware of when and where the Silver Salmon is available.
Where To Find Silver Salmon
Luckily, though certain fish will require different tool upgrades in Palia, specifically to the fishing rod, Silver Salmon can be caught with a basic one immediately. The Silver Salmon is going to be found in a very specific location and that is the Kilima Village Rivers. One reliable spot specifically is over where the river faces the Reflection Fields.
However, if having no luck there, there is another location to try out: a little bit North where the three sections of the river connect. Silver Salmon may also appear here. How To Catch Silver Salmon
Since this is a common fish, as stated, there will be no fishing rod upgrades or bait required to catch the Silver Salmon. In fact, players are going to be advised against using such as thing as it would only increase their odds of catching a rarer specimen and thus lower the likelihood of catching the common Silver Salmon.
At this point, you can proceed with trying to catch the fish like normal. Head over to the water and launch the hook. After that, it should only take a few seconds for something to begin nibbling on the line, but wait until there’s a secure bite before reeling in.
Reeling it in shouldn’t be too difficult, but note that there are other common fish that may get in the way. So have patience and keep fishing.
