Shelves are notoriously hard to build and install, at least in my opinion. But I’m about as far from a handyman as someone could get, and I simply don’t have the patience to figure out IKEA instructions. As I’ve been furnishing my new apartment, I’ve been on the hunt for stylish items that work with my decor yet are wildly simple to assemble.
When it came to floating shelves, I decided to forgo bracketed options entirely and instead went with rope ones that required just a sturdy nail in the wall. Now, because I have way too many appliances and far too little space, I’m searching for a shelving unit for my kitchen. I want something that’s easy to move and assemble (and under $100), and I’ve been out of luck in landing on something that fits my criteria. That is, until I came across this collapsible four-tier shelf from Honey-Can-Do that’s currently 40 percent off at QVC. And with over a dozen 5-star reviews, I’m more than convinced it’ll fit the bill.

The Honey-Can-Do shelf is a black steel, four-tiered unit that’s easy to assemble: Just unfold it, screw on the wheels, and that’s it! And when you need more space in whichever area you put in, it’s just as easy to fold back up and store it away without it taking up too much room.
Plus, the shelves are deep, so you can really fit a lot on it — in my case, I’m sure my stand mixer, air fryer, coffee machine, and rice cooker would fit on the sturdy shelves just fine, with plenty of extra space left over. One reviewer confirmed my assumption, writing that “the shelves are nice and deep and tall enough to easily hold a microwave, instant pot, crock pot and most other kitchen needs. Add a couple baskets or bins and you can store all the small appliance accessories as well.”
