Shoppers who are looking for a large 65-inch or 75-inch television but don’t want to spend a small fortune on their new home theater screen should set their sights on value brands such as TCL and Hisense. The latter has recently released its brand-new Mini-LED TVs such as the U7K, which has already experienced a quite substantial price drop on Amazon.
More precisely, the world’s largest online retailer is now selling the big 75-inch model variant of the Hisense U7K, which comes which a 144Hz VA panel and a superbright Mini-LED backlight that can reach an impressive peak brightness of 1,000 nits, for US$979 including free shipping. This constitutes a massive 35 percent or US$520 discount in comparison to the TV’s official MSRP, although Amazon has never sold the Hisense U7K in this size for more than US$1,150 according Camelcamelcamel.
Alternatively, the 65-inch variant of the Hisense U7K can be ordered at a generous 31 percent discount, which results in a sale price of US$728 on Amazon. In either case, bargain hunters are getting one of the best bang-for-the-buck Mini-LED TVs on the market, which can provide a great HDR experience that rivals some of the much more expensive competing products from the three leading brands in the television segment. However, frugal home theater fans who have a bit more patience can certainly expect more TV price drops in the future as this year’s Black Friday and holiday shopping season is not too far ahead.
