The 67-year-old, who has built a media empire out of sharing budgeting advice, was spotted driving around in Sydney’s Norther Beaches on Tuesday in a humble MG Hatchback worth around $19,000.
While his former breakfast TV rival Karl Stefanovic is known to splash out on flashy sports cars, Kochie appeared perfectly content as he zipped around in his canary yellow ride.
The multi-millionaire was spotted parking his car in a busy carpark, before pulling several pieces of luggage out of the boot.
Looking suave, Kochie sported a black suit and light blue button-down shirt, paired with sunglasses and patent dress shoes.

The journalist is the chairman of the Port Adelaide Football Club, which signed a multi-year deal with MG Motors in February 2020.
Kochie is quite the petrol-head, as he also owns a restored and modified 1967 GT500-style Mustang.

He paid just $60,000 for the vehicle including restoration costs, and was previously known to drive the muscle car to and from work at Channel Seven.
