King Charles has paid tribute to his younger sister Princess Anne today to mark her 73rd birthday.
The monarch, 74, led well-wishes to his sibling with an adorable black-and-white photograph of the pair as children sitting in their prams in the Clarence House garden in 1951.
It showed Charles delicately squeezing the hand of a baby Anne, while another image showed them chatting to each other at Buckingham Palace on the King’s Coronation this year.
The official Royal Family account shared the photos on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: ‘Wishing Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal a very Happy Birthday today!’
The King and Queen Camilla, 76, were not the only royals to send their regards to Anne.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh wrote on X: ‘Wishing a very happy birthday to The Princess Royal today!’
They shared a photograph of Prince Edward and his wife Sophie sitting alongside Anne during an open carriage ride at Ascot in 2019.
Royal watchers also wished the princess a happy birthday.
One person wrote on X: ‘Many happy returns HRH the Princess Anne. Beautiful photographs, thank you for sharing.’
Another said: ‘Happy Birthday to Princess Anne. Absolute boss,’ while a third added: ‘Age is just a number. Happy birthday to a living legend.’
A fourth person wrote: ‘Happy Birthday and many, many congratulations of the day to Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.’
The only daughter and second child of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise was born on August 15, 1950, at Clarence House.
At that time she was third in line to the British throne, behind her mother and brother Charles. Today she is 17th.

For the earlier part of her life, Anne was educated at home at Buckingham Palace until she broke tradition for princesses and went to Benenden School in Kent in 1963.
Anne began attending public engagements in 1969 when she was 18 years old. Her first act as a working royal was opening an education and training centre in Shropshire.
Since then, the princess has established relationships with more than 300 charities and organisations across the Commonwealth and has one of the busiest working schedules of any member of the Royal Family.
She became president of Save the Children UK in 1970 – the first major charity with which she became closely associated.
In 1990, when she was 39 years old, Anne was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by president Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia for her work at Save the Children.
‘She loves people,’ Kaunda said at the time. ‘She has extended that love to working for helpless children in many parts of the world. That is love in action.’
The royal developed an interest in horsemanship from a young age and aimed to reach the highest level of equestrian competition.

She won the individual European championship in 1971, was a member of the winning British team and was crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Anne became the first member of the Royal Family to compete in the Olympics. She competed in the 1976 Montreal Games as a member of the British three-day event team.
Today she is president of the British Olympic Association and a member of the International Olympic Committee.
The Princess Royal has five grandchildren: Savannah Phillips, 12, Isla Phillips, 11, Mia Tindall, nine, Lena Tindall, five, and Lucas Tindall, two.
