EXCLUSIVE: The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Craig Robinson says Killing It season two is a ‘wild ride’ ahead of Stan premiere
Craig Robinson’s new comedy show Killing It will premiere its second season on August 18 only on Stan.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star, 51, steals the show in Stan’s rags-to-riches series which sees him portraying one man’s quest to achieve the American Dream.
Fighting off criminals, pythons and crocodiles in the latest trailer, The Office star exclusively told Daily Mail Australia this season ‘is a wild ride’.
‘It wasn’t until I saw the show that I realised what we were in for. I was so surprised,’ Craig said, praising creators Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici.
‘I read the script and I knew what we were doing but once I saw it put together, it just was like, “Okay, there’s nothing like it.”‘
He added: ‘It’s fun, it’s wild, it’s imaginative, it’s humour, it’s dark, it’s heart. It’s me. This is like a dream I didn’t realise I had come true.’
After a successful first season which saw Craig enter into a state-funded python hunting contest, the Hollywood star said he never doubted the bizarre plot.
Even when he ‘felt dumb’ fighting a fake snake in the back of a car for an entire afternoon, he said it ‘felt like we were doing art’.

‘There was no time to judge it or be like, “This is dumb.” The only time I felt like this was dumb is when I was fighting an imaginary snake,’ he said.
‘But that made me accept being vulnerable more. You’re going to feel stupid at some point.
‘So the more I was able to accept this is what I’ve chosen in my life, and being that person who is afraid of a snake, the more believable and less stupid it felt to me.’
