Married At First Sight will look very different in 2024.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Channel Nine have decided to shake things up by switching the luxury accommodation the couples live at while filming the show.
After filming previous seasons at Skye Suites on Kent Street in Sydney’s CBD, this year producers have moved the cast to Green Square, the posh neighbourhood just a quick 10-minute dash from Sydney CBD.
The couples checked into the serviced apartments last week, and remain there until the final vows are filmed – unless, of course, they’d already left the experiment by then.
Each deluxe apartment comes in with a $350-a-night price tag. But money might be the least of the producers’ concerns after what happened in the previous season.

According to whispers around the set, relocating was the producer’s desperate attempt to keep the stars of the show from going AWOL.
‘Last year was just a mess,’ dished one spy.
‘Some cast members slipped out the fire escape and didn’t return until the birds chirped at sunrise – they wanted to put a stop to that.’

The insider claimed that a number from last year’s cast went rogue early on and that producers wanted to ensure that the cast are kept tamed.
‘The Claire and Adam fiasco exploded just days into the shoot. Moving the cast might just be the tonic to keep such scandals at bay,’ confided the sneaky source.
Besides, a fresh change in scenery might be just what the show needs. ‘It’s a chance to revamp and give the show a fresh vibe,’ the informant added.

Back in 2022, a resident, who lives at an apartment in Skye Suites, voiced that they were unhappy that the show kept returning because production caused ‘a number of disturbances to the pool, gym and lifts’.
Daily Mail Australia understands that while production completely took over the ninth floor, other levels weren’t affected.
Another source hinted that the decision to switch locations was also down to an unlikely culprit – nearby noisy construction.
‘The clamour from the construction site across Kent Street would’ve turned our romantic escapades into a hard hat zone,’ the source cheekily added.

Each self-catered room comes with its own kitchen, lounge and balcony

The complex offers a 24-hour concierge service, five-star fitness centre and swimming pool, and plenty of local amenities

The new cast have already moved into their apartment and settled into their new ‘married’ lives
