Renowned French spirits company Pernod Ricard has ventured into a collaborative endeavor with Rabbit Hole distillery founder, Kaveh Zamanian, giving rise to a new bourbon brand called Mary Dowling. Acknowledged as the ‘mother of Bourbon,’ Mary Dowling’s indomitable spirit resonates through time and impacts today’s bourbon-crafting methods.
The range is anchored by an exquisitely balanced high-rye Bourbon, which was masterfully finished in Tequila barrels. The second offering, the ‘Double Oak Cask Strength Bourbon’ is also arriving as a part of Mary Dowling’s debut lineup.
“I am thrilled that my great-great-grandmother’s remarkable life story is finally being told. Her journey inspires us to embrace challenges, to find solutions where others see obstacles and to celebrate the indomitable spirit within us,” commented Cathy Brown, a direct descendant of Dowling.
