Global retailer Walmart has officially launched the new ‘View in Your Home’ feature, allowing consumers to preview how certain products will look in their homes. With this new function, users can place multiple Walmart products in front of them through augmented reality and create their own unique space in accordance with their needs and desired aesthetic.
The application has significantly increased Walmart’s AR-compatible products, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor furniture, electronic devices, and an assortment of lighting alternatives. To enhance the user experience, the platform incorporates a distinct feature termed the ‘Similar Item’ function, enabling users to interchange products within an AR setting.
The ‘View in Your Home’ feature is accessible through the Walmart iOS application.
