The Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak game will be free to play online at the Epic Games Store launching later this month. Following the retro classic Homeworld game from 1999, which challenged players with real-time strategy, the Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak game will be available to claim at the storefront between the dates of August 24 to 31st.
Between the original launch and this one was a 2016 version that highlights the Kushan people along with main characters that are drawn from the 1999 original game. It is notably the only installment of the series to move the action to the ground from space. Ahead of the availability next week, users can explore the store page in a browser or redeem through the Epic Games Launcher.
