Sick has broadened its Ruler3000 series of 3D streaming cameras with a range of new additions. The new offerings, named Sick ‘Ruler3002,’ ‘Ruler3004,’ and ‘Ruler3010’, harness the formidable capabilities of the Ruler3000 series to cover designated fields of view, even down to an impressive 26.6mm.
The new cameras also boast a new feature — the integration of a high-powered blue 3R laser into the smaller models. This addition equips them with swift exposure times, allowing for the precise capture of intricate three-dimensional details, especially when operating at rapid production speeds.
By conducting 3D imaging, reflectance analysis, and scattered light measurements in a single scan, the Ruler3000 cameras are a reliable tool for capturing different settings. A full list of features for each unit is available on the Sick website.
