In 2003 American singer Eamon burst onto the music scene with foul-mouth diss track called F*** It (I Don’t Want You Back) aimed at his cheating ‘ex’.
Fellow musician Frankee was the supposed woman in question and got her own back by denying the allegations in warring cover called F U Right Back.
Both tunes became hits around the world and catapulted the stars into the spotlight, only for it to be revealed years later the pair had never even met.
Singer Frankee had seemingly jumped on her rival’s success with Eamon forced to threaten legal action, before lawyers managed to straighten things out.
Here we take a look at where the rival singers are now….

Here we take a look at where the rival singers are now….
Who is Eamon?
Eamon Doyle, now 39, began his music career touring his native America as a child with his father in doo-wop group The Elations.
Starting off at such a young age led to him signing with Jive Records at the age of 15 and then releasing his first track, F*** It (I Don’t Want You Back) four years later.
Despite the self biographical nature of the foul-mouthed tune, Eamonn has since revealed to Uni Lad that it ‘all made up’.
He also told LA Weekly in 2020: ‘We shopped that record to everybody, and literally no one got it. They were like, “This is cool and all, but it’ll never get played”.’
Thankfully one NYC station picked up the song with larger stations following suit and the tune became an instant hit.
Recalling the period he told LA Weekly in the same interview: ‘All the labels called back and everybody jumped on the bandwagon, like, “We get it now! We get it now!”‘.
Month’s later Frankee’s track hit the airwaves with a female spin on Eamonn’s release piggybacking off his success.
