The product builds on the original recipe for an improved consistency with a brighter flavor profile alongside a brighter, more attractive color. The final result is a versatile chorizo that’s ready for use in a variety of recipes including Mexican cuisine favorites or continental options like eggs, pizzas, meatloaf and more.
Chief Visionary Officer Gilbert Villaseñor II spoke on the new V&V Supremo Chorizo saying, “Our Chorizo 2.0 boasts a brighter flavor profile, thanks to slightly increased acidity, and an overall more ‘upfront’ spice and heat that readily imparts flavor to menu items. In the past, the clove was sometimes perceived as too dominant, but now, we have a more well-rounded experience with adjustments in spice and herb proportions.”
