‘Star Trek’ Star Carol Kane Watched Old Movies as a Kid to Ease Her Insomnia

Carol Kane, 71, is an actress who has starred in “Hester Street,” “Annie Hall,” “Dog Day Afternoon,” “The Princess Bride” and TV’s “Taxi.” She currently stars in season 2 of Paramount+’s “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.” She spoke with Marc Myers before the actors strike.
