The sophisticated fashion category is about to get a surge of stunningly elegant silhouettes, thanks to a collaboration between designer Willie Norris and the Brooklyn-based clothing label Outlier. With nearly a decade of association, the two partners will introduce a series of six collaboration capsules that will be gradually released on a bi-annual basis through 2025.
Emphasizing the versatility and aesthetic of sophisticated fashion, Willie Norris and Outlier’s first drop features eight “fluid wardrobe essentials” intended for mixing and matching during the summer’s heat. Various performance-driven fabrics were employed throughout the collaborative collection, including the breathable poly/linen blend INJEC, Outlier’s nearly weatherproof SUPERMARINE textile, the Swiss-woven, and water-repellent HEMPMARINE VENTILE, and a lightweight ACRISPCOTTON fabric.
