The Shake Shack Veg Out picnic kit is being launched as an option for consumers to pick up that’s perfect for enjoying out of the house during the warm weather in a local park. The kit puts the fast-casual restaurant’s plant-based fare in the spotlight and will be available at 10 participating locations in the New York City area in a bid to celebration Nation Picnic Month. The kit will come with food for two including Veggie Shack burgers, Non-Dairy Chocolate Frozen Custard, fries and lemonades alongside bamboo dishes, utensils, cloth napkins, a frisbee, branded picnic gear and a deck of playing cards.
CMO Jay Livingston spoke on the Shake Shack Veg Out picnic kit saying, “Now that our delicious new veggie burger and creamy non-dairy frozen custard are core menu staples nationwide, we’re bringing Shack fans a next level experience that draws inspiration from our roots—Madison Square Park—with a picnic kit that comes with everything you need to ‘veg out’ at the park, in NYC, and across the country.”
