The internet has been awash with footage of the Tesla Cybertruck as the American electric vehicle maker wraps up final testing ahead of its predicted late-August launch window. The latest Tesla Cybertruck footage, posted to Twitter by @MKumarTweets, reveals a new digital camo wrap that hadn’t been seen until now.
At this point, Tesla might be remiss if it didn’t take advantage of the positive response that the Cybertruck’s various wraps have generated. Given that the Cybertruck is unpainted, wrapping the electric pickup truck may be a necessity for some owners who want to protect the mill finish on the Cybertruck’s stainless steel body.
Recently, we’ve seen spy shots of the Cybertruck undergoing winter testing, and Tesla itself even shared an image of some of the rugged off-road testing that it was conducting. The company also confirmed that it has already produced the first production unit of its polygonal pickup.
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, also hid a hint about the Cybertruck’s pricing in a recent tweet about the Ford F-150, indicating that it may start at less than US$50,000, which would put it ahead of the competition. The Cybertruck was expected to launch in single-motor, dual-motor, and tri-motor variants, but Musk tweeted back in 2021 that all of the initial production units would be quad-motor AWD versions.
Musk’s quad-motor teaser was some time ago, though, so it remains to be seen what exactly becomes available to reservation holders when the launch date rolls around.

My interest in tech started in high school, rooting and flashing my Motorola Defy, but I really fell down the rabbit hole when I realised I could overclock the i7 930 in my Gigabyte pre-built PC. This tinkering addiction eventually lead me to study product design in university. I think tech should improve the lives of the people using it, no matter the field. I like to read and write about laptops, smartphones, software and trends in technology.
