The Mihogo Mini e-bike has been unveiled and will soon begin crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The company claims its new product is “the most lightweight, versatile, compact folding e-bike on the market”. The foldable e-bike weighs 19 kg (~42 lbs), making it heavier than other Indiegogo crowdfunded models like the OXFO OX1, which weighs 16.5 kg (~36 lbs).
The Mihogo Mini is described as versatile given the number of compatible accessories, like a mid-mounted bag, front basket and rear child seat. The company suggests that you can fold the e-bike in three steps, taking around 10 seconds. The model has a 350W motor assisting you at speeds up to 22 mph (~35 kph) with throttle-only and pedal-only riding modes. A 48V 16Ah battery assists you for up to 100 km (~62 miles) with an expected lifetime of up to 1,200 cycles.
The bike has a built-in 2.4-in display to show information such as directions and your current speed. Plus, you can connect your smartphone to view notifications on the gadget with proximity-based automatic unlocking. The Mihogo Mini will be available in various colors, including gray, blue and yellow. Indiegogo campaign pledges for the Mihogo Mini e-bike are expected to start at US$399. As with all crowdfunding campaigns, those who back the project are not guaranteed to receive the product.
