Hayley Atwell poses for a steamy bath shoot as she seductively reclines in an empty tub – three months after engagement to songwriter Ned Wolfgang Kelly

A bathtub may not be the usual spot to snap a picture but for Hayley Atwell it’s just as good a place as the red carpet.

For the Mission Impossible star posted a photo of herself lounging seductively in the bathroom on social media platform Instagram.

The Londoner, 41, who has a tongue-in-cheek grin and is wearing a scarlet red dress designed by Italian fashion house Del Core, joked in her caption: ‘Rub a dub dub randomly in the tub.’

She stars with Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg in Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One, the latest film in the high-octane series.

Now after soaking up the limelight and after a gruelling filming schedule, the actress, who got engaged to songwriter Ned Wolfgang Kelly in April, is looking forward to some downtime.

‘I will go on holiday with my fiance,’ says Hayley. ‘I will play with my dogs, and have dinners with my family.’

Hayley was first linked to Ned in July last year, shortly after she was said to have split from co-star Tom Cruise for the second time.

Ned announced their engagement on Instagram in April, revealing he popped the question during a romantic getaway in Venice.

He gushed: ‘Lucky me. Arrived in Venice at 10am, around midday the love of my life and I got engaged in the kitchen of this strange apartment surrounded by ducks, with a bloke outside the window murdering “My Way” on the accordion.

‘A perfect start to the rest of our lives together. I’d never had any interest in getting married… until I met this extraordinary woman. Happy as a clam.’

Hayley and Ned keep their relationship lowkey and have rarely been pictured together.

The London-based artist’s Instagram bio reads that he ‘doesn’t eat animals’ and that he has been ‘alcohol & drug free for over a decade’.

Speaking to The Sun when the couple first got together, an insider claimed: ‘Hayley’s happiness is written on her face right now.

‘They get on like a house on fire and make a very handsome couple.’

Ned’s website says he has produced commercial music for big brands such as Bud Light, Headspace and Samsung.

He has also scored films, worked on the design side of projects, and penned articles.

Last year, Hayley was said to have split from her Mission Impossible co-star Tom for the second time.

A source said: ‘Unfortunately it hasn’t worked out for them. They have now decided they are better as friends.’

The insider also revealed that the fanfare around the couple after going public was too much to handle.

‘They get on really well, and have fantastic chemistry, which is why they decided to quietly give the relationship another try earlier this year.

‘What was working behind closed doors didn’t work out so well when it was made public, and the fanfare around them as a couple exploded again,’ the source stated.

The source also insisted that the couple’s romance was ‘genuine’, stating ‘In spite of some rumours to the contrary, it was never just for the cameras.’
