Sega and Amplitude Studios announced that the hit genre-mashup game ‘Dungeon of the Endless’ will now be free on Steam. The game originally cost $11.99 with several DLCs worth a fraction of this cost. However, going forward, players will be able to download the game and its DLC packs at no cost. The company did note that free DLCs are only available as long as “supplies last,” which in this case, refers to the amount of digital DLC codes the company had previously generated for sale.
This move is coming in advance of the game’s sequel, ‘Endless Dungeon,’ which will release on October 19th, 2023. Dungeon of the Endless gained popularity for its unique blending of genres, combining RPG, tower defense, strategy, and action combat with a roguelike gameplay loop.
