Chrisley Knows Best star Chase Chrisley announces he and fiancée Emmy Medders have split up
Chase Chrisley revealed that he and his fiancée Emmy Medders had ended their relationship in an Instagram Stories post on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Chrisley Knows Best star and his former fiancée had both stripped their social media accounts of any trace of the other ahead of the announcement, which appeared to have left fans questioning what happened to the couple.
A source within the Chrisley family described Chase and Emmy’s split to DailyMail.com as being ‘not on good terms.’
They added that the engagement began to go south as soon as Chase’s parents Todd and Julie Chrisley went to prison after being convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion.
‘Chase believed that she was only with him for the fame because things changed between the two of them when their show was canceled, and parents were sent to prison,’ the insider said.

But they added that Chase also bore some responsibility for the breakup.
‘Of course, he was going through a hard time and acted out as well,’ the family source said. ‘He wanted her to be more supportive and, instead, she became more distant. The family has shut her out now.’
Emmy’s shunning by the Chrisley family was clear on social media, as Chase’s siblings appear to no long follow her account.
On Tuesday, the concerned chatter from fans grew loud enough that the reality star chose to address the split publicly with a stark black-and-white text post shared to his Insta Stories.
‘Everybody has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself. We both and agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately [sic],’ he wrote. ‘Thank you for respecting our privacy.’
