The upcoming Call of Duty Season 5, otherwise known as ‘Warzone and Modern Warfare 2’ will shine a spotlight on rapper Nicki Minaj as the first-ever female celebrity. She will be an entirely playable character as an Operator and is a part of the franchise’s “50 Years of Hip Hop Celebration.”
She is joined by other hip hop celebrities including Snoop Dogg and 21 Savage. Additionally, there are also characters such as Lionel Messi and Kevin Durant beyond the hip-hop theme. Minaj’s character is “Call of Duty’s first-ever self-named female Operator,” as noted by the operator, continue that “Playtime is over; this is not ‘Chill Nicki’; this is Red Ruby Da Sleeze” as a reference to the artist’s recently released song.
